Mugache Ladu

Besan ke ladu is a famous sweet dish in India, bu people who are acidic in nature or allergic to (gram flour) besan cannot have them. So an alternate sweet dish with a similar taste i.e. mugache ladoo is the best option for them. This ladu, highly nutritious, healthy and high on proteins is on the top list of recommendations to pregnant ladies, oldies, youngsters and children. So lets jump on to its ingredients and recipe which would take hardly 15 minutes of your time to have these melting and mouth watering ladoos in your mouth.

Ingredients:
1 bowls Moong dal
1/2 bowl Udad Daal
1/2 to 1 bowl Desi ghee/ Sajuk tup
1 bowl sugar powder
dry fruits as per your choice (especially cashews and kishmish)

Recipe:
Roast 1 bowl mong daal in kadhai for 2-3 mins. Then roast udad daal separately. Make sure not to roast Udad daal too much as it might give bitter taste to the ladoo. Grind both the roasted daals separately. Now add 1/2 bowl (7-8 spoons) desi ghee in the Kadhai once hot, add grinded moon daal powder to it and stir it well. then add udad daal powder and stir again. add 1 bowl sugar powder and continue mixing it. add ghee if you feel the mixture is not that wet. make sure the wetness is retained.Turn off the flame and add dryfruits of your choice. I prefer Cashews (kaju), Kishmish (bedane). Let the mixture cool down for half an hour. Once its cooled down, roll round balls and your ladoos are ready to be gulped.
